veterinarian assistant experience
Pet care experience
I have been a veterinarian assistant as well as a kennel technician for over 2 years at a vet clinic. I have administered vaccines, fluids, aided in surgery, and cleaned/ walked drop off patients. I have worked with all types of animals including dogs, cats, and rabbits. As a high school student I took long term dog sitting jobs for friends who would go out of town. I am interested in getting a doctorate in vet medicine and hope to make some money while increasing my experience with animal care.
Reviews
Paige did a fantastic job pet sitting our two pups while we were out of town. She sent pictures each day and let us know how the dogs were doing. She also left the house clean and tidy. I would use Paige to watch our pups again in the future.
Paige walks my dog twice a week and is very communicative, reliable, and flexible! Appreciate her so much!
Paige was wonderful. So professional and prompt. Apple just loved her. I will most certainly use her services again. 👏👏
Paige did a great job taking care of Nellie, we will definitely book again!

Safety, trust & environment
I have lots of experience on ways to keep things clean as I had to uphold hospital cleanliness levels for years. I am skilled at giving medications to both cats and dogs and seeing signs of sickness. I have a good handle on body language that signals to the pet needing to use the restroom and have experience in potty training multiple puppies.
Information Paige H. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know everything and anything you feel is important to know about your pet. I would like a feeding schedule, walking schedule, and any allergies. If your pet is on an medication I will need what type and when to administer. In this case I would like emergency contact to the vet that I could take the animal to in case of emergency.
A typical day
I enjoy long walks with the pets I watch, through the many trails around the area I live. I am great at playing tug of war and fetch, but whose isn’t. I also know how to stimulate dogs mentally but teaching new tricks using treats or their daily meal.
