The Comfort You're In Search Of!
Pet care experience
Hello! I have a bachelor's in biology that I obtained at The University of North Alabama, Roar Lions! The sole purpose of my degree was to pursue a career in animal care and conservation. I previously lived in Birmingham, AL where I was an assistant kennel manager at a veterinary clinic in Vestavia Hills, AL. Some of my everyday tasks included walking, feeding, bathing, nail trims, providing exercise activities such as daycare, monitoring behaviors, and most important of all ensuring that each animal was being taken care of to the best of our ability. I have professional experience dealing with reserved, semi-aggressive, and hyperactive dogs and cats and can assure you your furry family member will be in experienced, caring hands. I also previously worked as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Decatur, AL which has provided me with some awesome hands on medical experience with animals. I am currently in between jobs and wanted to take this free time to do something I love doing which is caring for animals. I know It's not always easy leaving a pet behind for vacation or business purposes. That's why I'm here to provide you and your furry family member with the security you are in search of. So what are you waiting for!? lets set up a meet and greet!
Reviews
Paige does a great job of taking care of our Carmela. Highly recommended.
Paige is the absolute best!! We were in need of someone to come in and let our puppy out everyday and she was the best fit!! She has helped us out in emergency's and is the best rover watcher out there!!!
Paige was wonderful! She was prompt and gave our pup walks and attention. Will definitely use her again!
Paige is an absolute gem! She was so sweet with our older dog and followed our instructions to a T. She is responsive and responsible. Highly recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
The most important thing for me when caring for your animals is ensuring they are comfortable. A change in environments can be challenging for dogs and cats and I have the veterinary experience to understand how to approach this. Understanding their normal routines and behavior is my number one priority and will ensure they are comfortable around a new face and in a new environment.
Information Paige D. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to know the following prior to a sitting: -Breed, age, gender -Veterinary Information -Temperament/personality -Diet -Food allergies -Medications -Aggression towards other animals (cats and/or dogs) -Anything not allowed in the owners care (ex. getting on furniture, jumping up on people, barking, etc.)
A typical day
Having owned a dog previously I understand the importance of exercise so walks and playtime would be a certainty. I also understand that not all dogs and cats have the ability to perform rigorous activities but still need stimulation to exercise their mind so activities such as licks mats, treat mazes and mats, interactive videos and toys, etc. are all forms of play I enjoy with those in my care.
