I always make sure I am asking about routine while entering a new home. Making sure I understand the dogs normal day to day as well as their behaviors so I can give them the best care possible while keeping them safe.

I love to learn pets routines and behaviors before watching them so I can give them the best care! Active dogs schedules are very important for continuous brain stimulation. Senior dogs schedules are important if there is medication or addition care needed! And of course behavioral dogs schedules because they deserve all the love and attention too!!
A typical day
Since I am in school I would typically wake up early and start our day off with a walk or playtime outside if client has a reactive dog. Followed with breakfast time and any medications needed. I usually give a treat, potty break, and leave music on before I leave the animal(s). When I come home depending on the weather I would go for another walk or playtime outside until dinner and then one more walk or playtime before bed. *If there is no dog door, I let dogs out every 30 minutes while I am home!
