I grew up with dogs my whole life, my first dog was Lucy an adorable Rottweiler who used to protect me while I would take naps in my baby swing. Then as I got older my family got 3 English mastiffs who were the sweetest dogs on this planet. When I got in high school I rescued a cute Jack Russel Terrier puppy, then I rescued a mutt puppy who we think is a Pitbull/Chihuahua. My parents wanted to add on to the pack so ended up getting a Saint Bernard puppy and a beagle puppy for my little brother. Now as an adult I watch/feed/walk my parents dogs whenever they go on vacation. When I moved out on my own I decided to go to the shelter in Oct of 2020 and adopted Fenix my Dutch Shepard Lab mix who has been the most loyal, calm, fun addition to my life. After having Fenix for over 2 years a friend of mine found a dog in LA which we learned was more than likely bred then abandoned on the streets. So, my partner and I drove from Phoenix to LA to rescue Lou. Lou (who I named after Sublime's mascot Lou Dog/Louie the Dalmatian) is the most high energy dog I have ever met, surprisingly it works super well for our family. She keeps us on our toes, she gets along well with Fenix, and is super smart. We think she is also part Pointer due to her high prey drive, she gets easily distracted by birds and rabbits. She is extremely impressive at how great she is at hunting and catch.
