Paige could not have been a more wonderful, loving, wise caretaker of my dog, Skittles! I am so grateful for all the photos she sent of the many fun outings she did with both Skittles and her sweet dog, Ruby. I will definitely contact Paige as soon as the need arises. A million thanks Paige!

Attentive, Compassionate Pup Parent

I understand what it's like to be a pet parent, since I am one myself... so don't be embarrassed about caring about your dog's safety! I am happy to do whatever it takes to make your dog comfortable. TV on animal planet? Bedtime story? Hey, whatever floats your doggy's boat!

My dog Ruby and on the top floor of a a pet-friendly community in Beacon Hill, nestled into a little alleyway. Located steps away from ...

What Paige would like to know about your dog

I completely understand that your pup may be a little homesick on their first day, and am prepared to clean up an accident or two and calm down some barking- totally comes with the territory! However, if your pup has frequent accidents at home, severe separation anxiety, or tends to bark when left alone, we might not be a good fit for stays taking place during the weekdays.

I do not have any breed preferences/restrictions, but dogs under 60 lbs would be most comfortable in my apartment.

Before booking a visit, I like to have a meet and greet at the Boston Common dog area. These meet and greets usually take 15-30 minutes. During this time, you and I can get to know eachother, our pups can play, and you can observe the park where I walk my dog (and our visiting puts) 2-3 times daily. During the meet and greet, we can talk about your dog's schedule, quirks (they've all got 'em!), favorite and least favorite things, and any special care requirements.

Please do not hesitate to share the details of your dog’s routine with me. If it will make his or her stay more comfortable, I would like to know! For example, my own pooch gets anxious if I leave without saying, “I’m leaving, I’ll be back” and offer a treat, because it’s part of our routine. I am committed to making your dog feel at ease.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Happy Tails,
Paige (and Ruby)

When Paige watches your pet

While your pup is staying with me, he/she will join Ruby in her daily routine, and I will alter it gladly if you'd like! In the morning, we talk to the Boston Common dog park and greet the day with our neighborhood puppy pals. Following our morning playtime comes breakfast, then once mealtime is over and everyone is settled in, I head out for work. I have a doggy cam on during the day and like to check in once in a while to see what's going on. When I come home, straight to the park we go! During evenings walks, I use an LED collar on Ruby and have extra LED buttons for your pup as well. Once we're nice and tuckered out, it's back home for dinner and a little relaxation. One more walk before bedtime- this time around the streets in my neighborhood, then we settle in for teeth brushing, eye wiping and grooming.

When your dog stays with me, s/he will receive a little welcome gift! I like to give each of my Rover guests an organic 100% beef bully stick. This is received well by my pup visitors because, well, treats are obviously great...but also, no matter how accommodating your Rover Sitter is, it can be a little stressful to be in a new environment, so chewing helps relieve the tension!

If your pooch is down for an adventure, I'd love to bring him/her with Ruby and I to Fresh Pond for a swim, Blue Hills for a hike, or with us to the many dog-friendly shops and businesses in Boston. (Depending of the season, of course). Health and safety is always a priority, so I'm sure to be conscious of hot summer pavement or salty winter streets.
