Puppies, seniors, active dogs oh my

Pet care experience

Hello, I'm a doting and fun pet friend, who loves caring for and training animals. I've taken care of pets for my whole life and I'm the go to pet sitter when my friends go out of town. These days I've upped my game by raising, training, and competing with working dogs. A couple professional working spaniel trainers even send puppies to me for socialization. It's a good thing I have a special talent for crate and potty training! Check out a virtual walkthrough of my house: https://youtu.be/nmJQNzSN88A?feature=shared I asked each of my 4 (mammal) pets what my best trait is. Here are their answers: "None, you always have dogs with you" -Souffle (9 year old cat) "Your big strong arms" - Beignet (15 year old tiny chihuahua) "Warm" - Cirrus (7 year old cat) "You play the best games with me" - Fig (2 year old working Spaniel)

Page is wonderful! She sat my two dogs Boudica and Miso at two different occasions and they had a great time. She even took them to the beach.

Page was great with helping me in a pinch. My dog immediately took to her at the meet and greet; definitely a reliable person to care for your animals! Thanks :)

My usually active dog Ember chose to sulk in her crate most of the time during her first overnight but at least she didn't demand bark for attention or cause a fuss. It is a start. I know she loves the chickens. I know Page will provide a comforting presence when Ember stays over again. Sure would like to see my dog branch out to new human friends.

Page has a well thought out home environment and a great temperament for pets. My Ember has never stayed anywhere with anyone but at home with us but she needs to have a place to stay if we finally take a trip this summer. Ember was fascinated by the chickens and obviously enjoyed retreating to a kennel at times. Now we’re looking forward to doing an overnight and hoping Ember will form a good bond with Page.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard to keep your dog safe and well-pottied. I never leave pets unattended outside. We go on leashed walks, bike rides, free runs, or training sessions twice a day, with potty breaks in between as needed. I keep my 2 year old dog crated when I'm not able to keep an eye on her, but my senior dog roams free. I'm willing to discuss keeping your dog crated or free roaming, depending on what's best for their comfort and safety. If your dog isn't crate trained and you would like them to be, I am happy to do that for you.

Information Page S. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any allergies or special needs, what skills they're working on or you would like them to work on, and anything else you think I should know.

A typical day

The day begins by 7am with potty in the fenced backyard followed by exercise. Exercise may include leashed walk, bike ride, free run at the park, a game of fetch, or whatever else the dog enjoys. Dogs then relax in the house while I run errands or get stuff done. Those needing extra socialization may join me on some errands. We all take a break at lunch time and play in the backyard. Then relaxing commences until 4 or 5pm, when we exercise again or do some mental exercise. Mental exercise consists of learning a new trick, practicing a developing skill, playing a search game, or exploring something new. Relaxing begins again while I get dinner ready. Post dinner, each dog gets a turn sitting on the couch with me for pets, grooming, and/or chewing something tasty. Then we all settle in for the night in our own beds or crates and catch some well-deserved zzzzs. We'd love for your pet to join in our perfect days!
