I have been petsitting and taking care of dogs (and other animals) since I was a kid! I grew up with dogs in my family and have always been the designated dog-walker and feeder. I volunteered with the Humane Society in high school, college, and beyond, and have experience helping train dogs to be obedient. I even worked at a pet store specializing in dogs! While I was in school, my neighbors would hire me to petsit for them, and I currently petsit for friends and family several times a year. I have petsat for a number of animals, including: -dogs -pigs -cats -rabbits -chickens -birds -horses -fish -squirrels (yes, squirrels!) and other rodents My favorite things to do with dogs are play fetch, take them to the park, or go for a foothills run/walk. When caring for senior dogs, I let them set the pace and am of course careful not to do anything too strenuous with them.
