Pet care experience
I have seven years of part-time dog care experience, and have been at it full-time for the last three years. I truly love dogs, and I place tremendous value on the ancient human-canine friendship. I feel grateful to canines that they have been by our side since the dawn of civilization, loving us and working with us. I feel it is my duty to pay each and every canine that comes my way with great love and respect, by being a good friend to them, and by taking care of their every want and need.
Reviews
Oz kept us updated about how our fur baby was doing which I really liked! He took excellent care of him, and it looks like our boy was really happy.
Oz provided a home away from home experience for our 3 dog pack for an overnight stay and we couldn't be happier with the love and care that he showed our canine family! Oz went over and above sending pictures and updates throughout the duration of their stay. Our pack was treated like part of the family and they settled in quickly which allowed us an opportunity to enjoy a worry-free overnight trip knowing our dogs were in good hands. We will definitely use Oz again in the future!
Oz was fantastic! he took Buck for multiple walks everyday and played with him. he was very attentive and went above and beyond what I expected. Following the first day with Oz, Buck was very excited when we mentioned seeing him again! Bonus, he was exhausted after every day! Oz was very accommodating with our schedule! Oz truely has a passion for taking care of dogs and I will definitely be taking Buck there again in the future.
That was Galaxy's first experience with a dog sitter and Oz did it well. Oz is friendly and patient with dogs. He sent pictures of Galaxy during our trip and kept us updated. Galaxy had a great time with Oz and her new friend. Highly recommend Oz. Thank you Oz.

Dogs under my care in my house have full, easy access to all their basic needs on the main floor of my house; eating, sleeping, playing, and resting all happen on the main floor of my house, in a baby-gated living room. My house is located in a quiet village neighborhood with virtually no traffic to speak of, which makes for safe and convenient dog walking conditions. I employ the use of belt leashes to keep dogs firmly attached to me at all times when out on walks. Sometimes a dog will come to me with an insufficient collar which slips over the head of the dog or becomes easily unfastened, so I have military tactical collars which I will sometimes use instead. I have a front yard and a back yard, both of which are equipped with tethers and chains, for dogs who enjoy lounging outside. My house has full climate control, and I tend to keep my house at about 65 degrees year-round. I also have an indoor propane heater for emergency use in the event of a prolonged winter power outage. I do have crates which I tend to not use, they are there mostly for emergency use. I have a dog first aid kit in case of emergency as well.

Information Oz W. would like to know about your pet
The most important information to know ahead of time is the age, gender, breed and size. This really helps me to be able to anticipate what the job will look like, and helps me to understand if they will be compatible with other dogs under my care at the same time. It's also important to know if the dog has any allergies, if it's spayed or neutered, any medical conditions, if your dog has ever bitten another dog, if it takes medication, its feeding regiment, and if it has any limitations regarding how much walking it should be doing, if they're crate trained and whether or not it would be acceptable to crate them for a short period of time if utterly necessary.
A typical day
I take dogs for about 4 big walks around my neighborhood per day; dogs love sniffing around my neighborhood and checking out the "daily news." There's a river right around the block from my house for dogs that like to swim in summertime. There is also a dog park nearby, for off-leash time and playing with local dogs. Dogs under my care will sometimes have the opportunity to make friends with other dogs in my circle of family and friends, go for runs, visit parks, etc. I always feed the dog according to your instructions in conjunctions with my own tricks, and I usually find myself feeding the dog kibble rations twice a day, the kibble splashed with some broth to make it more delicious to the dog. The broth trick really comes in handy for dogs who would otherwise suffer a lack of appetite due to the change in their routine. I keep chicken broth on hand as well as beef broth for those dogs who have bird/feathered allergies.
