Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My name is Oyin and I am a current graduate student doing my MPH in public health, but have always loved working with animals so I do Rover on the side. I have always had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember. I am very flexible and am open to taking special requests (e.g going to a specific park or area on walks). My pup loved his walks with Oyin and was always super happy to see her! She walked him daily and was always very responsive to messages and flexible with changes in schedule.

Thanks for being patient with my Boo and making sure she got a treat and food and water filled while I’m at work. I bet she’ll be more warmed up to you tomorrow. Thanks also for leaving the lights on as requested, she gets scared in the dark:)

I make sure water is always available, any potentially hazardous items are put away, and I try to maintain a relatively calm and quiet environment, especially for anxious pets. If I am uncertain or have questions about something I will always reach out, to be safe.

I prefer to know about your pet's typical temperament, triggers, anxieties, medical conditions and any allergies (especially to treats which I love to give out!). In addition, I like to know your preference for vets/ emergency care in the unlikely case that something were to happen.
A typical day
Most likely to a nearby park, and if not then at least a grassy area. For fun activities I would probably use squeaky toys, play fetch (in an enclosed/controlled area only), or play with tug of war using a rope (aka my dog’s favorite activity). This will help burn off a bit of energy while having fun!
