Lifetime cat owners and dog lovers
Pet care experience
We have both been lifetime cat owners and avid aquarium hobbyists. Tatiana has had dogs in the past, whereas Owen has professionally house-sat digs, birds, and reptiles. Between the two of us, we've cared for dozens of animals across decades. We moved from BC to Ontario for school and miss our pets back home. We'd love to house polite cats or dogs as we're often home and love the company, but we can commute to care for animals as well. We love and miss having animals around while we're in Ontario for school for a right now. Owen is a Registered Massage Therapist working weekdays and stays busy with online school. Tatiana is a full time student in Nursing, and school is mostly online, too, so one of us is home nearly every day. Our schedules are very regular and consistent. We are very responsible care-givers with a minimalist house (no pet hazards) and no kids or other pets. We understand each pet is special and unique so we plan to follow your care instruction, but likely with a bit more spoiling attention. We currently live in an apartment but have ample walking paths and parks nearby. We enjoy a minimalist style for our home décor with little clutter and no pet hazards. Pets are more than welcome on furniture, and we enjoy a clean, quiet, smoke and drug-free environment.

Immediately after meeting Tatiana and Owen, I felt comfort in leaving on vacation. Tatiana and Owen stayed in my home for four days to take care of my pet. They followed all instructions, sent multiple photos and updates daily, and left the house cleaner than it was before. You could not pick two more responsible and trustworthy people to care for your pets.

Owen & Tatiana were gracious enough to spend Christmas with our dog Charly so we could visit family out of town overnight! They are caring, focused on Charly’s needs and his quirky unpredictable personality. And they were most respectful of our home as well. Will definitely rebook these two gems ?
Couldn’t be happier with the care that our cat Oliver got while we were away. Owen and Tatiana were very responsive when replying to messages, sent lots of pictures, and when we got home it was obvious that Oliver had lots of fun. Will definitely go back to Owen and Tatiana the next time we are away.

A typical day
We have a few local walking paths we like to take that are close-by and quiet that can provide a good few kilometers of a trek. We are very quiet in our apartment, but still playful and fun. A normal day for us includes waking up between 7am and 8am, then Owen will go to work through regular work hours while Tatiana goes to school from home or occasionally has class in person. Every morning and evening we're at home together.
