June and I love to go on forest adventures, and would love to take your pup along for the trip! Additionally, I am also totally okay with couch potatoes - I’m a father to both kinds of friends, including two sassy little cats. I’m comfortable giving medications (pills, diabetic injections or otherwise) as well as crate training, and staying calm during high stress/emergency situations.

My complex has access to Sandy Creek trail and is a few minutes away from Duke trails golf course. June and I also break up the monotony by going to Durham (Cole Mill, Eno River State Park). I tend to describe June as my angsty teen, who thinks she has the most embarrassing dad on the planet. She’s wonderfully chill with other pups, and loves to be chased. She’s adapted to a very particular cousin dog, and has gently welcomed a teeny tiny kitten into her space as well. She’s my best girl.
Information Owen M. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know how comfortable they are with other dogs and new situations. I would also love to know what their favorite activity is, and if they know any basic commands (sit, stay, no, drop it, etc). I don’t have any breed preferences, I think all pups are adorable and sweet in their own way.
A typical day
We love the woods and will take advantage of all the trails RTP has to offer. Additionally we’ll have some snuggle on the couch time, and whatever else the pup enjoys doing - whether that’s going to the dog park, playing fetch or with other toys, or taking rides in the car. The goal is to welcome them into my life like they were mine.

Availability
At the moment I work at Starbucks full time. I open the store (4:30am) until about noon or one pm. I graduated from NCCU in the spring with a Master’s in Library Science. Currently have most days off after 1pm. I would eventually like to have a set schedule with folks, but at the moment I am pretty flexible/open to anything.
