Pet care experience
I’ve loved animals all my life! I live in Chicago with my best friend, Logan the labradoodle, and I spent my summers as a kid on my dad’s farm in Ireland - managing the animals on the farm. Additionally, I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s dogs for years. I have experience feeding (and encouraging picky eaters to eat their food), walking, and playing with pets.

Throughout high school, Orla and I worked on a number of projects together, and she was always extremely responsible and on top of things. She would definitely bring the same energy to dog walking. I’ve seen firsthand how good she is with both her own dog and with other people’s. On top of that, Orla is genuinely one of the sweetest and most caring people I know, making her an ideal pet caregiver.
Orla is friendly, caring, and fun and would make an outstanding dog walker. She already walks and cares for her own labradoodle, so definitely knows how to handle a big dog and encounters with other dogs. Her dedication to animals is evident in her work at the Shedd Aquarium and her care for friends animals as well as her own. Any dog would be lucky to be walked by Orla!

I live in Hyde Park, which has many parks and green areas, so I love to take my dog on long walks, bringing toys to play and stimulate him while we’re out. For your pet, I will also take them on engaging walks and play with them as though they were my furry friend.

I love working well with all kind of dogs, but please let me know if your dog has any special needs so that I can accommodate those. Additionally, I like to take my dog on walks with other dogs sometimes, so if your dog doesn’t work well with other dogs please let me know that in advance!
A typical day
I will bring toys on our walk to keep your dog mentally stimulated and also help get all their energy out. There is a big park near where I live that I love to take my dog to because he can run around off leash without me having to worry about too many people or cars etc.

I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’m available all throughout the week from 11am - 10pm. Additionally, I keep my calendar updated consistently.
