Shadow and I cannot wait to meet your dog!

Pet care experience

I am an animal lover, who had the luck to have several pets in my youth. One of my biggest dream was to adopt my own dog, and as soon as I moved in with my partner, I adopted a lovely fur ball named Shadow. I spent a lot of time educating him to make him an entire member of the family, and being comfortable to do everything with him. Shadow has many dog friends with whom he loves to play, and these dogs gradually turned into “guest” i welcomed inyo our home for a few hours, a few days… No need to say I'm always pleased to have a dog over! I quickly became our friends’ reference to take care of their animals when needed. I'm always making everything possible for the dog to feel at ease and loved, as I care of them as if they were my own. It is now thanks to a career path that I have the opportunity to look after more dogs, giving them all the attention and care they need. I would be delighted to meet you and your dog for a walk to know you, your dog and its need.

Oriane was too kind. She was able to take Rex even though it was last minute booking and was amazingly flexible. Rex is nervous puppy despite this he thoroughly enjoyed his time with Oriane! She sent pics and activities photos throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

My greyhound Sheena had a great time, Oriane was a brilliant host, and Shadow is very friendly

Oriane is a fantastic carer that loves animals more than people! She goes out of her way to look after th edogs in her from both a physical aspect but also making sure they are mentally stimulated. The giant mounds of toys and puzzles that are used is impressive and she loves training dogs with new tricks. You couldn't find someone better to look after your dog and give them all the love and fusses they deserve.

What a dream Oriane is! ♥️ Oriane has looked after our Winnie on several occasions, and Winnie loves it. She is super knowledgeable about dogs, and genuinely cares and loves for others dogs as if they are her own. Winnie's confidence has grown massively since introducing her to regular visits with Oriane, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have someone like her take care of our baby girl. Would highly recommend Oriane for all your walking/ pet sitting needs.

I have a house with an enclosed garden, and I’m lucky enough to be next to fields, where we can walk freely. The estate I live in also provides lovely path walks. In the field, I can keep your dog on the lead or let him roam freely (depending on your instructions), as there are no road and enough field space to do so. As I have my own dog, my house is “dog proofed”, with no toxic plants or food for them to grab. Your dog can have his own space in the house if needed, away from the noise and my dog.

A typical day

As I have an Australian Shepherd (cousin of Border Collie), Shadow needs a lot of mental and physical stimulation. We generally have 1 hour walk a day, in one go or divided during the day. Treats can be provided during the day, such as dental sticks or during tricks sessions. Conscious of the need for rest, your dog will have time to nap and rest during the day, between walks and play sessions.

I have recently decided to change career path and started working part-time, fully remote. I’m therefore quite flexible to take care all day long for your dog, or to organize walks at a time that suits you. I’m generally walking my own dog once or twice a day, everyday, whatever the weather.
