Having 14+ years of experience with dogs, I have always had unconditional love for them. Until recently, I had a dog of my own for many years who was my best friend. In addition to having my own dog, I have also taken care of other dogs in the past and have connected with them very well. I am most familiar and comfortable with small/medium dogs. Specifically, I have taken care of malteses, lhasa apsos, yorkies, coton de tulears, poodle crossbreeds, pugs, boston terriers, etc. For boarding services, my house is very "dog-friendly" as I had just had a dog of my own until recently. My house is kid-free so there is usually nothing on the floor or around for a dog to take hold of. I have a stroller for small dogs, if they like to enjoy the weather outside (and get tired of walking). I have leashes, brushes for grooming and even some clothes for small dogs (sweaters, rain jackets, etc.) I have wee-wee pads, if needed. Lastly, if the owners permit, I can provide treats for the dogs! For walking services, I have leashes for small dogs as well as poop bags/a pooper scooper if needed. Anything other necessity the dog may need during a walk, I would be willing to do. For drop-in services, I try to accommodate to what the dog is used to doing/already likes to do. Generally, I truly care about dogs and want them to feel as comfortable as possible. I try to understand them and since I shared a dog's love with my own pet of 14 years, I understand how important dogs are to their owners. From personal experience, I believe I comprehend dogs well once I know about them and what makes them comfortable.
