Howdy! We are a young couple, NEWLY MARRIED, who love all things canine and feline. We both come from familes with cats and dogs but weren’t able to take them from our families to bring them into our home. We have 10+ years of caring for cats and dogs and we will create a fun, loving and inviting environment to care for your pets as if they were part of our family. We live in an apartment complex with a walking trail and dog park with plenty of grass for running and doing their business. We have a patio they can get fresh air on between. As of 2023 we have been on Rover caring for pups and cats for 4 years! We’ve had the great pleasure of caring for so many fur babies and it’s provided a way for us to pay for our wedding and for that we are forever grateful. Our spunky dachshund did great with Omar and Kirsten! They were very flexible and kept us updated during our trip. We would definitely trust them to care for our dog again!
2nd time with Omar & Kirsten and all I can say that we have found Truman’s official second set of parents. Lol. Truman seemed to be at home and felt very comfortable. We felt at ease as well knowing she is around people that love and care for her. We were updated everyday and like last time, no skipped meals. Eating, and bowel habits did not change a bit. Goes to show that Tru has well adjusted to Omar and Kirsten. Now we are for sure where to leave Truman when we go out of town or the country.
Highly recommend Omar & Kirsten! They sent updates and pictures everyday while we were away. They cared for Truman like she was their own. I greatly appreciated their reliability and the peace of mind I had knowing my pet was in such capable hands. And this was the longest time Tru was away from us. They made our vacation worry free. I couldn’t be happier with the care that they provided and will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Does your puppy have any separation anxiety that will make a stay stressful for them or us? We ask for transparency and honesty as you know your pups better than we do. We live in an apartment and try to be respectful of our neighbors so if your dog barks a lot or howls especially if left alone, we would like to know. If they need someone with them at all times that is also important information for us to have. Does your pup have any dietary or medical restrictions we need to be aware of?
A typical day
We take pups for walks about 3-4 times a day depending on their needs. We don’t have a yard for them to run around in but there are walking trails in our complex and surrounding neighborhoods so if your pup is more active we can make sure they get their exercise. We also love playing with puppies and their toys they bring over and on the occasion they have been known to go home with more toys than they came here with.

Availability
We both work retail and so our schedules line up well for being able to spend more time throughout the day with your pups and cats. If one of us is working a closing shift the other is here during the evening. Our work schedules makes it so your pups are only ever in our home alone for about 4 hours at a time if at all.
