I have had dogs and other animals my whole life, I am usually the one to walk them and feed them, and even teach them tricks. Im very patient and able to handle dogs that may be hyper or difficult to control. As stated I have been around dogs my whole life, but the past 3 years I had a dog of my own. I learned even more thoroughly what goes into caring for an animal who is completely dependent on you. I can recognize signs of distress or medical issues, I can administer medications if needed, take them for walks and maintain control the entire time. My dog had many health issues and quirks, which made me realize each dog is different and has its own needs. I have another job but I receive my schedule 3 weeks in advance so I know my availability fairly well in advance.
