Hello there! I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid my love for animals started. I had a few dogs and kitties and always said I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. My professional career in veterinary medicine started when I was fresh out of high school. I worked at a small private practice veterinary hospital and learned from the bottom up. I eventually was trained as a Veterinary Assistant. After that I have worked at multiple veterinary hospitals/shelters in Florida, San Diego, and Portland over the past 8 years. I was certified with Florida Small Animal Rescue Coaliton and FEMA. As a veterinary assistant also I volunteered in numerous animal rescue situations, and fostered/ rehibilitated homeless shelter animals. As for house sitting experience I have a lot of lovely clients who left me reviews you can read!:) with my professional and personal experience your animals will be in great care. Olivia was great! Dusty our 3 1/2 year old male Sheltie loved her!!!! She has Vet Technician certification and has a patient calming personality that is great when working and communicating with sensitive dogs such as Shelties. We stayed in OB for a few days over Presidents Weekend and she "house sat" in the condo we rented. We were visiting with my sister's family who were also vacationing in San Diego. Olivia was very flexible with her schedule to work with us due to plan changes. This was greatly appreciated. She also timely on response and arrived on time for "dog-sitting" She is simply marvelous and cannot recommend her more. We were able to be at ease while sight-seeing and visiting with my sister's family knowing Dusty was in good-hands". We will definitely reach out to her again when we visit the area.
Olivia was great- the dogs liked her right away. :) She was prompt, spent time with them and helped with special instructions like re-setting the music loop to keep them calm. Will definitely use her again!
Olivia is such a Godsend. Dexter is a senior dog who requires extra care, medication, and patience. I’m usually a mess when I have to leave him but Olivia’s gentle nature and obvious love for animals put me at ease. On top of that the house was clean and orderly and the cherry on top! This was my best rover experience by far!
Awesome job again! Olivia is our go-to sitter!
