Hi, I'm Olivia and I have a passion for pets! I have spent this past year working on contract for a dog walking company. During my time dog walking full time I worked with dogs with all sorts of personalities and quirks, including dogs who displayed leash reactivity. I also worked with a dog with mobility issues. I have had a lot of cat sitting experience over the years. I once took care of an elderly cat. This job involved preparing and administering multiple medications, cleaning up after the cat who often soiled himself, and preparing special food for the cat. Those days could often be long as his care was intense. However it was incredibly fulfilling. I am willing to do anything to help an animal live a full and happy life. I was also a Toronto Humane Society volunteer prior to the pandemic. There I worked with dogs and small animals (from rabbits, to hamsters, to reptiles). All my experiences working with animals helped mold me into the person I am today. I am a firm believer in reward based dog training. I think our role as pet owners is to help guide our pets to become well rounded and balanced through reinforcing positive behaviours. Kindness and love is everything when it comes to animals. Services: Dog Walking: • I will take your dog for a 30 or 60 minute walk Home Visits: • I will spend 30 minutes or 1 hour with your cat or dog. For dog visits, it is really up to you how you want me to dedicate my time. Of course I will bring your dog(s) out to go to the bathroom but I will ask you what type of play and training you would like me to do with your dog(s) as well as if and how they need to be fed. For cat visits I will feed your cat(s), clean the litter box(es) and then spend the rest of my visit interacting with them, whether that be through play or sitting with your cat(s) and giving them affection (or both) House Sitting: I will stay at your house and take care of your pet while you are away.
