I haven't been a dog owner my whole life, but I have owned them for the last 8 years. 3 seems to be our comfort number. haha. My husband and I currently have a 6 yo Lab mix named named Indy, a 5 yo Pug named Lugnut, and we recently adopted a 1 yo Doberman named Reign. This being said, I'm used to all sorts of personality types of dogs. Our Lab is our problem child as he has a bite record and isn't the friendliest with other dogs, but I've been working very hard to getting him more comfortable and more obedient to avoid anymore issues. Our Pug well... he's a pug and they have some health issues and Napoleon complexes. Our Doberman, she's just super high energy and ALWAYS ready to go, no matter how much we try to wear her out. I have taken all my dogs through a few levels of obedience training. Lugnut used to be an agility Pug, but he has developed luxated patellas, so no more jumping and weaving for him. Indy has gone through all levels of obedience training, agility, and nose work. I am currently working with Reign in beginner Obedience, but I plan on training her in Agility and Barn hunt.
