Your haven/vacation for pet babies.

Pet care experience

🫶 Emotional / physical care for your fluffy family. 🥰🤷🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️ TL;DR - BASICALLY… Honestly, as much as I’d want to, right now I don’t have a dog of my own, so your fur baby is treated with as much love and care as if they were my own! 🥰😘🐶 - 👋🏼 INTRO For 10 years I’ve been loving on and caring for friends and family’s dogs on the east coast in Florida and Georgia. Now an LA local, I’ve built a community of friends and pet lovers through word of mouth, the Nextdoor app, and my freelancing camera operations work. 🕰️ MY DOG CARE HISTORY For the past year in LA I have cared for 2 chunker muchkins (bulldog brothers), 1 large and in charge handsome boy (German pointer and cattle dog mix), 1 playful and bright youngster (golden doodle), 1 scruffy energizer bunny boi (chihuahua mix), and 1 cuddle bug mini peter-cottontail (mini poodle). All aged between 1-9 years old. Some would be housed together in my apartment over nights. Mostly, I would house one at a time over long stays at my place for a week or two. And some would be a few hours at my place or theirs. 🧑🏻‍🦽 SENIORS & SPECIAL NEEDS/ABILITIES 🦾 I can work with you on caring for senior dogs (10+) as I have not cared for that age as much. As well as chatting about any special needs your dog(s) may have if you need care for them and want to get to know me specifically as your potential caregiver. Esp. if you have multiple dogs varying in age and ability (special needs), so they can be together under the same care. 🎥 MY CAREER/HOME LIFE & ROOMMATE My freelance sports broadcast job as a camera operator and tech producer allow me to work with you on flexible schedules. I also work voicing audible audiobooks from home. My roommate and I don’t have pets of our own, but she will get a dog of her own in a few years. I’ve collected some fun dog toys and some dog beds over the past year for any fluffy guests! - For more details on how I care for them see below “additional information.”

Olivia is the BEST!! Very communicative and so thoughtful as it’s reassuring to know that Joey is in safe hands. I really appreciate the extra mile in meeting us in person prior to our first Rover experience. A genuine pleasure to have watch Jo! Thanks so much Olivia!! xx

Olivia went the extra mile with my dog Roger! I really appreciate that she was on time and followed Roger’s walk / feeding instructions. I also love how communicative she was during the stay.

I will only accept bookings fully confirmed after we have met in person or through zoom before our first service. For my safety and your peace of mind. I have a fenced yard that provided free poop bags for easy clean up. I don’t leave small objects on my floor in my home. I’m hyper aware of keeping a safe environment in my space for your dog to share it with me. I absolutely love to take and share pictures and videos of our time together!!! They’re just too cute not to. I keep their rover card updated detailing our time together for both our histories. I’m open to zoom chats, phone calls, and texts before, during, and after their stay.

Information Olivia R. would like to know about your pet

Please, let’s discuss before booking confirmation (through a Zoom video meeting or in person) your dog’s behavior. After; we can confirm I am a good fit, based on our personalities, schedules, and/or if I’m watching other dogs or not. ✨ Esp. meeting in person with other dogs I may be watching so they can test the waters together. Also (in no particular order) ⤵️ - How I’ll be provided entrance to your place (if you’re home or not home…security guard/hidden key/extra key given on our meet up before-hand/key code - If they have allergies or medications. - If they need a strict nutrition schedule or diet. - If they require strict and specific social boundaries or needs, around both people and other animals. - If they have possible symptoms you want me to keep an eye out for (I.e. for something they may not have yet been diagnosed for or treated for yet) - If they need to be brushed daily or weekly or every other day. How they shed. If they need skin care. - Body aches and pains / sensitive areas - Do they need stairs for couches or beds - Do they need the elevator and can’t climb stairs - Exercise sensitivities - Bowel movement health (if it’s been irregular or not so I know what to look out for health wise) - Personality in general and personality around new people - Aggressive history (to humans or pets) - Do they like car rides or do they shake and have anxiety - Where else do they show anxiety - Special relaxing tools / techniques / meds for their anxiety, if they need. - Favorite play activity? Fetch, loves recall, loves being chased, loves frisbee, loves a good obstacle course Etc. - Loves, hates, or indifferent to - TV, music, certain noises - Fave snacks - Food they must avoid (emergency level) - Food you preferred they avoid (non emergency level) Anything else that you feel I should know specific to your baby I’d love to hear to give them the best love and care.

A typical day

I love playing catch in my apt. complex’s back yard and/or hiking small 1-1.5 mile hikes nearby (Fryman Canyon and Topanga Trail are my faves so far) and going to dog parks near me (Dog Park at NoHo West, Laurel Canyon dog park, Runyon Canyon dog park, and my personal fave and closest to me: Whitnall Highway Off-Leash Dog Park). If you provide bathing products I would love to bathe them if/when needed while they are with me. Depending on your pups comfort I can brush their teeth, as well. I like playing beginner level training “games” because not only is it fun to bond with them that way, gets their energy out, provides mental and physical stimulation for both of us haha, but it teaches and strengthens their good habits. As I cannot fully groom or nurse your beautiful babe, I am comfortable taking them to a groomers and vet you recommend, if needed under my care. I like to walk around my neighborhood either in the quiet neighborhood streets walking in one direction or near Lankershim/magnolia during the day where there are coffee shops, the Iliad bookstore, and quaint boutique shops. My favorite place to hand out, which is enthusiastically dog friendly, is TeaPop down the street from me. I can’t wait to get to know you and your pet family more! While staying overnight or day care with me in my home I like to follow this schedule: - In the mornings we go to my fenced backyard at Blix32 apartments. They can do their morning relief routine and we can play or sunbathe while I catch up on emails. I also have a balcony with synthetic grass to hang out and sunbathe on (sans bathroom relief). - Then I usually make breakfast for us both unless they have a different eating schedule. I’ll work from home or a coffee shop (freelance life is a lot of odd hours work). - In the afternoon we’ll either go to the backyard or for a walk in the neighborhood. Then I’ll finish up my WFH agenda and come early evening or so go to a nearby dog park because that’s when most people visit. If your pup prefers less people/dogs around the park I’ll plan to go to the dog park when less people and dogs are there - depending on your dog’s social needs). Then voila dinner time! Same basic schedule if I’m at your home or visiting by checking in every few hours, unless otherwise discussed. When dropping in throughout the day I like to give them my full attention going through their specified routine and giving them good play and/or cuddle time.
