R.I.P Bear 9/2023 💜 I rescued my first pet, a cat named Ash (who lived until he was 23) at the age of 5 and branched out and rescued 3 more cats, Angel (who lived until she was 21) , Smokey (who lived until he was 22) and Roo, when they were kittens. At the age of 10, I got my first dog, Pumpkin (Retriever and Chow Chow mix) who had special needs (severe anxiety) who was a little on the aggressive side (but adored cats) since he was a rescue with abandonment issues. But with time and a lot of love, I successfully trained him, built his trust and drastically improved his behavior. Pumpkin lived a wonderful life and sadly passed away in 2014. In 2015 I rescued my current dog, Bear (Shepard, Chow Chow mix age 7) who's personality is very outgoing, loves cats and is a great protector. My dog Bear unfortunately lives at my parents house since I cannot have any furry friends within my current household. Once I move on from my current place, I am looking forward to getting two a British shorthaired cats and possibly a puppy (Chow Chow mix). I have experience with administrating medication to both cats and dogs and providing the up most care for kittens, puppies and older cats and dogs. I have a flexible schedule but kindly ask to provide advance notice since I am a mom.
