Pet care experience
My family dogs are currently 9 & 8, so I have experience with looking after puppies, teenaged and middle aged dogs. For the past 6 years, I have boarded 2 other dogs regularly, a miniature daschund and a Labrador. This has meant I have good experience in different exercise regimes, diets and enrichment activities needed for different individuals. I also have experience with training and socialising puppies, as one job I had was looking after a 12 week puppy and taking them on their morning and afternoon walks, to reduce environmental novelty and frustration tolerance in new situations or around new people. Through personal experience, I have found that dogs settle much quicker for an overnight experience in their own home. They have access to everything they need and have home comforts so there as little disruption to their life as possible which makes for an overall calmer sitting experience for all involved.
Reviews
Olivia recognised Lottie's separation anxiety and dealt with it so well that Lottie quickly became her biggest fan! She loves Olivia taking her on a walk or a Call In, too!! Thank you, Olivia, for your assistance when my own incapacity has prevented me taking Lottie out as often as I did, previously!
Olivia was amazing with our needy dog Sonny who has been anxious with other dog boarders. She was great with him, and provided regular updates and photos. We will definitely be in touch again! Thank you 😊
Zara was well looked after at Olivia’s house. Received a photo of Zara snuggled up, just like she does when she is comfortable. Would definitely recommend Olivia and use her again next time.
Awesome care, Tina loved it! Thank you so much!

I have a fenced back garden, so access to toileting areas will not be an issue. I also live close to many outdoor green areas, and have a car if transportation is necessary. In the case that you would like me to stay with your pet at their home, then I always have a clean down before leaving and treat everything with respect.

Information Olivia P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there is anything specific your dog likes to do or have (or should not do or have) and I will do my best to accommodate this to make sure their experience with me is the best it can be!
A typical day
I know how important it is for dogs to get mental and physical exercise, and to be able to relax as well. We'll play games (chase games, tug games, food games, whatever is best for the animal!), have treats, go on walks and also spend time having down time.

I am currently studying an MSc at the University of Lincoln in Clinical Animal Behaviour with an undergraduate degree in Psychology so I have a solid and in depth knowledge of animal behaviour, wellbeing and welfare. However, this does mean I am unavailable on Mondays and Tuesdays. But throughout the rest of the week. I have time and opportunity for any walks and active engagement necessary, toileting requirements and mental enrichment needed for each individual. I know how important pets are to owners, and how they are part of the family, so when an animal is in my care they will only be treated with love!
