Pet care experience
Animal care is my passion! I grew up with pets and believe that they make life so beautiful. I currently work part time at an animal hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. I work only 3 days out of the week and always come home on my lunch breaks. I have worked at daycare/boarding/grooming facilities and have also worked at a wildlife sanctuary! I have been vegan for almost 7 years because of my deep love and connection for animals! Animals can’t tell us what that need, so I feel it is my purpose to be a voice for them and to give them all the love they deserve! I will send you lots of photos of your pet(s) while they’re under my care!

I can highly recommend Olivia as a reputable pet sitter and caregiver to people and especially animals. I have the utmost respect for her and her abilities to do an amazing job for my cat. She is a true professional in her field and animals and people just adore her. She is patient, empathetic, kind and understanding towards the pet she is taking care of and the pet owner as well. She is punctual, trustworthy and true to her word. My cat just adored her. Olivia came to the house and met my cat. She spent time with him and got to know him and his needs. She also patiently and carefully, took the time and showed me an easier and approachable way to trim my cat's nails, which is not an easy task anyway. Her approach and skill made it easier to get the task done. I am very grateful for her help. Olivia is great at what she does and is a valued asset to her job. You will be very happy with her as a pet sitter or dog walker. I know me and my cat are knowing he is in good paws with Olivia.
Olivia is a caring, patient and loving person! She takes great care of our senior (15 -year- old dog) fur baby Mitzi and knows how to be so gentle and patient with her when administering fluids subcutaneously every 3 days. It was a struggle for us to get Mitzi in for these treatments, but with Olivia's kindness and compassion our dog no longer dreads vet visits. She goes the extra mile for canine parents, and even texted us pics of our fur baby getting her fluids and a short video clip to allay our worries! Also, Olivia is smart and keeps current in this field. We feel fortunate to have her help and support with our fur family member. We highly recommend Olivia for any position working with animals.
Our 10 year old baby dog, Mia, is a special girl who had a few rough first years. With her original owners, she was alone in the house, in her crate, during two robberies. Not knowing what they did to her or how they may have scared her left her very timid and leery of people she doesn’t know. And afraid to be alone. One night she was left outside in a thunderstorm. Terrified, she made her way out of the yard and found her way to us. It was a joint agreement between her original owners and us that she needed more attention so she’s been with us ever since she was 5 years old. We’re very protective of her. When we’re away we board her with our vet where Olivia works. We know she is safe there but she’s still scared to be without us. But the moment she met Olivia there was an immediate bond. Someone she could trust and feel safe with. That makes it much easier for us to be away without worry knowing Olivia is there. We’ve decided that for future trips we will ask Olivia to stay with her in our home, Mia’s home where she knows she’s safe..with Olivia.
Olivia was great with our dogs. She was very caring and loving towards them! Olivia provided us with updates regularly and sent us pictures to reassure us. We trusted her in our home while we were away. I definitely recommend her.

A typical day
I have a big fenced backyard that my pets love to play in everyday. If your dog likes the beach, we will definitely head to my favorite dog-friendly beach. If your cat likes toys that make sounds or move, we will have tons of fun.

Availability
Having pets of my own means I’m always attending to them. Being a Veterinary assistant means I’m taking care of other’s pets as well, meaning I must be always paying attention to details. I’m very lucky to work at a hospital that will allow me to leave to come attend to your pet(s) while they’re under my care.
