Pet care experience
In the past, I was a house sitter for my older friend who had one very hyper Border Collie, two loafing Chihuahuas, and three cats. The experience really gave diving into the deep end a new meaning for me when it came to pet care, but I had a lot of fun spending time with their fur babies. Since then I've had the opportunity to join my friends on many dog walks (with dogs of all sizes and energy levels), doggie sleepovers, and some doggie playdates. I understand just loving animals isn't enough to properly take care of your pets and I am constantly trying to learn more about them and meet their needs. Feel free to be as detailed as you want in how you'd like for me to care for your furry family members, I'm more than happy to learn about their specific needs and will regularly send updates/photos.

I have two wonderful housemates who live with me in our one-bedroom plus loft apartment and they both love dogs and cats. We have easy access to a small park for quick potty trips and a variety of longer walking options to the Arboretum, West Village or we can explore Davis's suburbs together (with doggie bags and water of course). So you can rest assured that your pet will be getting their exercise.

As far as I'm concerned the more the merrier when it comes to facts about your pet. Generally, I'd like to know when you go for walks or when food time is so I can mimic their usual routine. Any information on likes or dislikes and how they behave on walks is also helpful. Do they like other dogs? Kids? Or should we take a different path when someone is spotted? My family dog is a shy pup who loves people but is afraid of dogs so I understand. Are there any behaviors I should be wary of? Again, anything you'd like to tell me about your dog is welcome!
A typical day
Short or long walks I'll make sure your pup gets their exercise! We can go to the Arboretum, explore the suburbs, or head to a nearby park. I don't have any doggie toys yet, but if your pup enjoys soccer or larger balls then we'll have a blast. Your furry friend can also expect lots of pets and affection!

Availability
I am one of many fully online college students in Davis, so aside from an hour-long meeting here and there, I will be at my apartment. Plenty of time to drive or walk over to your home and take your doggo/catto for a walk. Since I have my car here I am very flexible with bookings.
