Pet care experience
Dog sitting and walking is my dream job! There's no better way to spend your time than hanging out with happy dogs. I'm just about to be a senior in college and I won’t realistically have the space for my own dog for at least a few years, so in the meantime, I would love to provide care for your dog! I've never been able to have a dog of my own, so when I got a car and was able to dog sit in high school, I was overjoyed to help out friends, neighbors, and friends of friends with their pups! I've pet sat overnight for single dogs and larger groups of dogs. These experiences ranged from watching senior dogs and young ones, giving one on one time to a nervous dog, entertaining a very young but very large and rambunctious puppy and even balancing an escape prone big dog with also taking care of chickens (and catching that dog when he did some Houdini moves). I can handle multiple dogs at a time, and am also happy to do separate walks for individuals in a big group. I am prepared for whatever your pup wants to send me way, and figuring out how to make them the happiest they can be even without you around! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog!

Olivia did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of our dog Cyrus while we were away!! She was very professional and able to help us out even on very short notice. She and the pup instantly seemed to get along (even though Cyrus can sometimes be a "handful") and it was HUGE relief knowing that he was happy while we were away. Olivia is an outstanding person and a loving and responsible pet caregiver. She has watched our two pugs multiple times over the years and they love her as much as we do. She was great about asking detailed questions, was always communicative during the time we were away and was happy to chat via phone or text whenever we wanted to touch base. She took the ladies on long walks, gave belly rubs and made sure they had some treats along with normal meals and fresh water. Our dogs are family members and Olivia felt like one of the family as well. It was so much easier for us to be away and enjoy our vacations knowing Olivia was holding down the fort and really taking such excellent care of our dear dogs. I would recommend her without hesitation to care for anyone's pets!

Definitely the first thing would be to ask you about your dogs habits, walking routes/abilities, if he goes to the dog park, what their stamina is like, toys, etc., so that I can know if anything is wrong or out of the ordinary during my time with them. I'd also love the contact information of your local vet and emergency contacts.
A typical day
I’m open to whatever your dog wants to do! I’ve hung out with little dogs who just want to sit in your lap all day (but of course we’re gonna squeeze in some fresh air if they're capable) and I’ve also hung out with little dogs who need constant attention and stimulation! It’s pretty satisfying to tire a dog out, so if your pup just wants to play with their toys and me all day, they better get ready for a partner who can keep up! Home is great for cuddles, playing, and some downtime that will definitely be needed. I personally love walks because it gives you such a different perspective on new or old neighborhoods! If it’s okay with his owner, we can visit the dog park, or possibly some of my friends who love dogs and would love to also play with them, or run some errands together. If your dog is able, we can also go explore (as I have my own vehicle) for some new sights and smells.
