Hi! My name is Olivia and I have lived in the Philadelphia area my whole life. I recently graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University and have worked in the nonprofit world for the past few years, grant writing for a community development organization and helping refugees navigate the U.S. healthcare system. When I was a little girl, I was actually afraid of dogs, having had a dog chase incident at a young age. But one day, my parents brought home a puppy, a Border Collie mix, that we named Cookie and from there on out, I fell in love with caring for dogs. Cookie was my best friend and the bond we shared was immeasurable. After much thought, I made the decision last year to transition from the nonprofit field and office life to pursue a more active, fun work environment where I can get back to doing something that brings me joy, and that is caring for animals. I strongly believe that a pet is part of the family and should be treated as such. Along with the fact that they provide unconditional love, it goes without saying that they should be loved and taken care of as one would take care of a child or a family member. I have been pet sitting/dog walking for family and friends for years. I am available Monday through Sunday for dog walking and sitting services. In my spare time I enjoy running, cross stitching, scrapbooking, hiking, as well as spending time with family and friends. My attention to detail will give you peace of mind while you are away and my kind, caring and compassionate personality is sure to make your pets feel special. I am excited to start this new chapter and look forward to providing the highest quality care for your four-legged family members!
