I'll be your dogs new best friend:)

Pet care experience

I am a reliable, bright, trustworthy dog lover who will care for your pet just as much as you do. Growing up, my childhood dog was a huge Australian Shepherd named Kula who made me fall in love with dogs forever. There is no dog who is too much for me, I will love them as if they are my own! Big or small, energetic or shy - I understand all dogs have their own individual needs just like us humans. I have been dog sitting, house sitting, and babysitting since I was a little girl; and have enough recommendations to fill a book. I work from home in a house my boyfriend and I purchased a couple of months ago. I promise to walk, scratch, brush and squeeze your loving pet just as much as you would, and can't wait to start forming bonds with pets all over Denver!

Olive and Fenn had a great experience with Olivia. I was nervous leaving one of our pups since we have been fortunate to always have friends watch her who know her idiosyncrasies. Olivia sent pictures and reassured me all was well. Olive and Fenn seemed to have a great time and I felt very safe leaving our dogs. I would not hesitate to use Olivia again.

Olivia took wonderful care of Winston and gave him so much love while we were away. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing he was taken care of.

This was the first time we booked with Olivia and she was absolutely great!! Not only super flexible with times requests and overall stay, but also she was super patience with our dog Fei who is very fair full and takes its time to connect with new people. Olivia sent. Many pictures and was very communicative as well! We’ll definitely book with her again. Our dogs looked happy when we picked them up and that’s the right sign.

Information Olivia D. would like to know about your pet

Please bring poop bags / dog treats / dog bed (if needed) and dog crate (if needed)!! I do not supply these! The most important information for me to know about your dog is: - Does your dog have a tracking device I should be aware of? - Is your dog an escape artist? Can they be left in my fully fenced in backyard unattended for short periods (only in spring + summer)? How carefully should I be when opening my front door? - How do you and your dog feel about the dog park? If you are not a fan, please let me know and I will of course not take them there! - In passing, how comfortable is your dog around other dogs? Should I stand to the side of the sidewalk to lets other pups walk by? Or if they both want to say hi to each other is that okay? - What times does your dog prefer to eat? - Are there any sounds that especially trigger your dog? Such as skateboards, alarms, etc? - Does your dog mind being picked up? Are there any spots on your dog that he/she doesn't like being brushed or touched? - Does your dog like to cuddle or be more left alone? - How does your dog prefer to sleep? In bed with me (which I love!) or in their own bed? - Finally, are their any commands you would like me to follow while taking care of your dog?

A typical day

My typical dog filled day - My Mornings: I am huge morning person who wakes up at 7 am, makes tea first thing, and gets ready for the day. After this, I will take your pup on a morning walk around the neighborhood and allow them to sniff to their heart's content all the morning smells of the city. Experts say just 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour's walk in terms of enrichment for dogs, so I always allow them to take in all in as we both wake up. Mid Morning: After the morning walk, we then will head back into my house, both have breakfast, and enjoy each other's company until it is time for the mid-morning bathroom break. Lunch: Once that is over, back to more hanging out until it is the lunch day hour walk, this is where we will have a full hour walk around the neighborhood during my lunch break, stimulating your dog both mentally and physically Early Afternoon Walk: Then of course one more afternoon potty break come about 3 pm. Afternoon: Quickly following the after-work full-hour walk/ dog park to really get out all the left over zoomies from lunch. Evening: The finally ending the evening at 7 with dinner, and one last final pee before bed at 9pm
