I have years of experience caring for various types of pets including: dogs, cats, small critters, reptiles, and birds. From volunteering at an animal shelter, taking animal care related course work, to fostering numerous sets of kittens, I feel confident in my abilities to provide the best care for your pet! I have cared for pets of all ages and am familiar with administering specific diet regiments, as well as oral medications.

Olivia successfully handled my somewhat anxious rescue dog which was a great relief to me. I was only away one night but I hope to have her come help again/longer (two nights next time) before long so he remembers her.

Olivia did a great job sitting for my dog over an extended weekend! I received regular updates and photos each day I was gone, and I felt very comfortable knowing my dog was well taken care of. The house was also very clean when I returned. I would definitely book Olivia again!
Olivia was the best dog sitter! My dog is older with health issues, so I'm always a bit anxious leaving him while on trips... especially during this time of COVID. But I left with 100% confidence knowing Olivia was taking great care of him. When we met, she took precautions (like wearing a mask), which was very much appreciated. She asked questions when necessary and was communicative throughout the duration of my short trip. I look forward to booking her again in the future!

When pet sitting, I like to make sure the owner is having a positive experience just as much as your pet is. If requested, I aim to send daily updates/pictures. I also like to make sure that your living space is left better than I found it. Trash and recycling will be taken out. The sleeping space will be stripped, and any linens or towels will be placed in your laundry area. Dishes will be washed and all surfaces will be wiped down.

For pet sitting messages: I would appreciate knowing how often your pet is taken out or walked. As mentioned above, my hybrid schedule changes from week to week. The more info you provide about your pet’s schedule in the initial message, the faster I can confirm my availability!

I am an active person and enjoy creating a safe and stimulating environment for your pet. Daily play and walk times, cuddles (if your pet is comfortable with that), and engaging with your pet to ensure they are relieved of any stress while you are away are my goals!

Availability
I work a hybrid position with the DC Courts. I typically go into the office 2-3 days a week and the days vary on a weekly basis. I rely on public transportation to get to work and will have to factor that into how long I am away from your pet. I will be sure to provide immediate updates if and when my schedule and availability change.
