I grew up with dogs throughout my youth, and have been pet sitting friends' and family's dogs and cats throughout my adult life. I love caring for dogs. I take dog sitting seriously and aim to give your dog a maximally healthy and happy experience while they are with me. I'm a very responsible and dependable person who values good and open communication and care to learn what works best for you and your dog!

I completely trust you with whatever is most important for you to share with me. Here are some basic things that can be helpful to discuss before your dog's stay! -your dog's schedule for eating, sleeping, and walks/bathroom -how your dog does with other dogs, strangers -how your dog does with separation -any behavior issues and/or behavioral rules you would like me to enforce, if applicable -anything else you think I should know to keep your dog healthy & happy!
A typical day
I walk dogs throughout my neighborhood in Highland Park which has a lot of lush greenery which the dogs love to sniff! I also take dogs on longer walks to Johnson Park or Donaldson Park. I try to optimize walks to make sure the dogs are getting the sweet spot of good exercise and stimulation out of the walk but without ever exerting themselves beyond their physical limits. When we are back home, it's a calm environment. I usually am just reading/writing and I will take breaks to play with & pet the dog.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to adjust to your dog's normal routine. Most days I work from home and have many opportunities to step outside for breaks and walks. I like to take the dogs out every few hours, alternating between quick potty breaks and longer walks. T
