I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of every ilk, including dogs. I have learned how to train, understand and handle dogs of all sorts from family friends who were vetranarians, bird hunters and trainers.

Olivia really helped me out at the last minute when another dog/house sitter I had lined up got sick. I felt comfortable right away with Olivia when she came over to meet me and my dog, and my dog liked her, too (the real test!). She put my mind at ease about being able to take care of my high-energy dog and staying in my home. I really appreciated the daily texts/photos while I was away, especially the photo of my dog cozying up to her! I also really appreciated her good actions when a loose dog was running around, by taking my dog (who is very excitable with other dogs) back inside, then making calls to be sure the loose dog was caught and the owner found. And letting me know about all of it. Great job! I will definitely use Olivia again.
Olivia was a great choice to watch our home and pets while away. We have a high energy husky who gets board easy and an old guy that likes to nap all day and requires medication daily. Having them at our home helps with the older dogs stress levels and really glad she had the flexibility to hell us out.
Olivia is amazing! My pups love her and I was very happy leaving them in her care. She kept me abreast of the pups with pictures and daily emails. Thank you Olivia!
Olivia allowed me to travel with ease, knowing my dogs were well taken care of. This was my 1st experience with Rover and my 1st big vacation in years. Olivia took care of my two dogs for eight days and sent pics (much appreciated!) and was in contact throughout our vacation. If you're looking for a reliable sitter, she's the one.

I require that the pet parents who hire me have emergency plans in place with me should your pet become ill or injured, ideally including pet insurance. I do everything in my power to keep your pet happy and healthy including leash only walks, reviewing any medications they need and insuring they have enough for your whole trip and being aware of their location as much as possible. I have pet sat on and off for 8 years and never had an incident, however I insist on being prepared if one arises.

I like to know what your dog's normal routine and favorite things are. Keeping them on their regular schedule can help a dog feel like the world isn't ending while their people are away and I'm around instead . I also need to know how they act around people and other animals so that I can best navigate walks out and about with them.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks of neighborhoods that are new to me, especially around times like Halloween and Christmas because of all of the decorations. If your dog still has lots of energy after a walk, tug of war, tossing a ball or even introducing a new trick to learn can be a great outlet depending on the dog's personality.
