Hello! My name is Olivia, and I view taking care of your furry family as a privilege and an honor! I've loved and cared for animals ever since I was a little kid. I have 10 years of personal experience taking care of dogs and cats (excluding childhood) and have cared for family, friends, and neighbor's pets, as well as my own. I also have 10+ years working in the hospitality industry, so I understand the importance of timeliness, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and staying organized. You and your pets' needs are my priority. In addition, just as I prioritize the health, safety, and happiness of my own cats and previous pets, I will do the same for your babies. I believe that all animals deserve to be treated with respect and love, and I look forward to learning about your loved one(s) so I can incorporate their favorite and preferred treats, food, and activities during their care. I can't wait to meet you and your fur-family! I have experience with oral medications (liquid & pill) and topical treatments, as well as applying eye-drops, nail clipping, and bathing. I will make sure to exercise your fur-babies through play time and walking, whether they be a dog or a cat! I have harnesses for my own cats and take them outside on a leash as often as I can.

When I house sit or do drop in services for you in your home, I will make sure to monitor and care for your pet 100% of the time. And anytime I go outside with your fur-baby they will be leashed (unless you have a fenced in backyard!). I will make your pet's safety and happiness a priority, as well as follow your guidance for any special in-house care (crating, cleaning, etc). When house-sitting, I can also check the mail for you and water your plants while you are on vacation!

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog does well with other dogs or tends to pull on the leash. I have experience with dogs who prefer to be on their own due to mistreatment before their adoption. I also have experience with senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies and make sure to pay attention to your pet(s) bathroom, feeding, and grooming habits. Anything that seems out of the ordinary will be reported to you immediately. Additionally, if your dog has any aggressive or shy behaviors/ quirks that are out of the ordinary, please let me know so that I can account for them. I want to know what to expect so I can take the best care of your dog!
A typical day
I love playing with and walking dogs! Any favorite toy, treat, game, or walking route will be incorporated into their care. I also will make sure to bring water and treats when we are at the park so that they can stay hydrated during our fun!

Availability
As of right now, I am a full-time graduate student working towards a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's degree, so I am only accepting house-sitting requests for weekends. I have limited availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well, as I am in class from mid-afternoon to late in the evening. I look forward to taking care of your animals and will treat them as my own while you're away so you can have a stress-free experience!
