I do not have any breed preferences, but I think it's important to know about a dog's temperament with both people and other animals. By better understanding the dog's behavior toward me or around other dogs (just passing on a walk or in a park setting), I can also understand what actions I need to take to accommodate the dog's needs. As far as basic needs go, I would obviously want to know if there are any special instructions with feeding the dog or providing medication of any kind as well as if the dog has any in-home behaviors I should know about.

I love playing and running around with dogs, whether it's in a back yard, the living room, or at a dog park. I think it's really important for dogs to have their exercise and get some energy out, especially outside! I don't mind traveling with dogs to nearby trails or parks for walks, or just walking around the neighborhood if the owner suggests that instead.
