Pet care experience
I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life. I was a toddler when my family got our first of 3 cats and a dog. In 2017, my roommate adopted a dog and I played a huge role in taking care of him — from feeding, taking him out, going on walks, baths, and more! Since moving to St. Louis I’ve dog sat for two families in my apartment. This was my first time meeting the dogs and having this experience and it was great. I love helping others while getting to spend time with animals!

I’m very big on following directions at others home so I can respect the space and keep everyone safe. In my own home, I don’t have a backyard so the dog will always be on a leash outside. Inside, I always make sure nothing is on the floor or tempting for a pet to eat/chew on, keep food away, and ensure doors are closed to avoid them getting into areas they shouldn’t be.

Their eating schedule and amounts, how much exercise and play they like, how much they want out in a typical day, any favorite toys or activities, where cleaning supplies are if accidents occur.
A typical day
I love going on walks, so when I’m watching a dog I love to start and end a day with a long walk - possibly more depending on the animal! I love going to the various parks around St. Louis, but also walking around different neighborhoods and checking out the unique areas.

Availability
Currently I work remotely/hybrid 30-40 hours a week so I have a lot of flexibility to fit pet care into my schedule! I can take breaks at work for walks, play, feedings, etc. but also hang out at the house with the pet.
