Dogs are my life!
Pet care experience
Animals have always been an extremely important part of my life! I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter for years so I have experience with many different animals. I was foster coordinator at my shelter as well where I cared for animals needs and medical care, ranging from bottle babies to seniors. I am also a foster parent and mostly foster puppies from my local area. I have an extensive range of experience to care for any pets needs.
Reviews
Olivia was amazing with our reactive dog, Foxy! She was kind, patient, and very professional. Her confidence in handling our challenging dog gave both my boyfriend and I a sense of peace and relief. It was obvious right away that she has a lot of experience working with reactive dogs. Olivia will definitely be our go to dog sitter! We are so glad that we’ve found her.
Olivia is one of the most caring people I have met. She cares for her friends, family, strangers, all animals and the environment. She treats everything and everyone with love and respect. Olivia cares very deeply for those around her and pays special attention to the animals she encounters. She adopted her German Shepard, Dakota, from the pound when he was in pretty bad shape and was an untrained puppy. Caring for him after the surgeries and vet trips, training him and loving him, all lead to the inseparable bond that these two have. When I think of Olivia, I think of the immense amount of love she has for her dog and for the people in her life. As if having one dog isn't enough, Olivia has fostered many bottle fed puppies in the past. She is attentive to detail and nurtures the growth of the puppies in a positive way. You can feel and see the love she has for animals in a very powerful way. Olivia would be the perfect pet caregiver for any animal because of her huge heart and passion to take care of others.
I've known Olivia for 5-6 years, in this time that I have known her she has been nothing short of amazing. She always seemed to have a foster dog she was caring for and treating like her own. She loved working at the humane society in Boise ID, and enjoyed her job as the foster coordinator. She's always been interested in learning more and more about animal behavior, mainly for dogs, to better accommodate for them and understand their needs and wants. Right now she has a very high-maintenance German shepherd which she fostered and then adopted from the Humane Society in Idaho so she knows how to work with the sassiest and craziest pups out there. She is an amazing person and an amazing dog owner and animal lover, I think that she would be an awesome fit for working with anyone's pet.

For as along as I know, I’ve always cared for animals! I have tons of experience with animals who are scared, shy or stressed from working in an animal shelter. I have experience with all sorts of behavioral issues as well as medical and all different ages! I prioritize positive reinforcement, patience and kindness with all animals I meet. I am also Fear Free certified. I pride my self on learning the science of animal behavior and you can usually find me reading a book about it!
Information Olivia B. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of time, I’d love to know what gear your dog wears, what’s their favorite treat, your typical walking routine and anything your dog is not a fan of. I believe routine is extremely important for your pets to make sure they feel comfortable and stress free, so knowing your routine will help me accomplish that.
A typical day
I have a high drive, high energy dog so I understand that sometimes a walk just won’t cut it. I can also provide mental stimulation for your dog such as trick training as well as some more vigorous exercise if they need it!

I’m currently a college student, a social media manger and work in a shop in JT. When I’m not training my dog or taking him on adventures on my days off, I want to help you out! I know working and being a care taker can be exhausting and sometimes you need a little extra help, that’s what I’m here for. Please note that I do not typically like booking hour long drop in visits. Feel free to reach out to me to chat more about this and figure something out for you.
