Pet care experience
Growing up working as a team, my amazing dog trainer mom, Alicia Barry, I have always been surrounded by dogs of our own as well as those that we loved as our own. Whether they came to stay for the week, were hosted as fostered or where in training for behavioral issues/basic training, I learned to love every dog I came across and see the good in them even when others couldn’t. I am so grateful for the training skills that I have developed through my childhood and now continue to grow with my own dogs as a young adult and give me the ability to form a deeper connection with dogs. Taking part in training of all dogs, big and small, from puppies to aggressive and fearful dogs to geriatric physical therapy, we have gained incredible dog experience in every level of training and care since before I can remember!

Olivia's canine behavorial background shows in the way she prioritizes mental and physical health by ensuring routines are followed and enrichment activities added. Whether she is hiking, training, competing, rehabilitating or just snuggling her own dogs, Olivia is in 100%. She is the top of a very short list I would trust with my pack.
Olivia is the perfect person to watch your dogs! She has grown up around dogs her entire life and is very knowledgeable in all things dog as her mom is also a dog trainer. She has watched my 2 dogs on numerous occasions and there is honestly no one else I would rather trust them with. When they are with her they get more attention I think then they get when they are home lol. They get lots of cuddle time, they have enrichment activities, and a little bit of training practice sometimes too. The dogs always have fun so they enjoy it and of course I enjoy it because I know they are in the safest and best hands possible besides my own.

We do have three friendly and well trained dogs of our own, two dobermans and one basset hound, who are the light of our lives and are ready to welcome anyone into their home as much as we are. In terms of safety while we are away, dogs who need to be crated can be easily provided with that accommodation as well as many other special needs that they may require to keep them as comfortable as possible. We do have a temporary fenced area for smaller dogs to use for bathroom breaks as well as multiple dog runs (lines) which we use with martingale collars to ensure that they are secure and dogs can not slip out of their collars.

A typical day
With a plethora of games and techniques to have your dogs engaged physically and mentally whether staying or just taking a walk they are sure to have a great time and learn something in the process. Of course there is plenty of time for cuddling as well!!

Availability
As a full time student pharmacist, I definitely understand busy schedules and it takes a village to ensure our animals are getting the best of care! Because of this, at times when I am unavailable, I am so lucky to work alongside my mom who works primarily online and with dog clients in the training space at our home, as well as Charles, my dog-loving boyfriend. Because of this, we are able to work together to ensure that both our own dogs and any dogs that we may host are obtaining adequate physical and mental stimulation with canine enrichment and training as primary components of our dogs everyday lives.
