Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my life and caring for them is my passion. My partner and I have a pup (Akuma, 4 yrs) of our own who is very friendly and happy to help keep your dog entertained and socialized. We have reliable transportation to take your dog to a veterinary emergency hospital and live 7 blocks away to the closest vet. My partner, Heather, and I have been living in Monterey for the last 2 years and spend our weekends doing dog-friendly activities as we have an active pup of our own. We have taken care of all types of dogs - from puppies to senior dogs and everything in between!

Echo had a great day with Oliver, Heather, and their pup. They did a great job watching her, a high energy dog, on a rainy day. She came home happy and tired.
Oliver and Heather took an amazing care of Koda while I needed someone to watch him for the day as I was traveling around Monterey and Santa Cruz. They took him on a hike, and even bathed him after he played with their adorable dog, Kuma, when they got extremely muddy playing together in the backyard. I should also mention that Kuma is extremely friendly and adorable. I really appreciate that they sent updated pics of Koda throughout the day. This was actually my first rover sitting experience and I’m so glad to have went with them. Super nice couple that genuinely love pets :)
Our Toby was a happy boy with Oliver and Heather 😁. He is a senior and doesn’t adapt to change readily, but they made sure he was comfortable and felt safe. We loved all of the photos, thank you!!

If you’d like us to keep your pup with us at home, our house is completely fenced off with a small grass yard and plenty of room to roam. If you have an active pup, we live 3 blocks from the beach or 10 minutes from downtown Monterey and other dog-friendly hikes.

If your dog is friendly and likes to socialize, please know that we have a 4 year old dog that is very friendly and happy to keep your dog company (along with me, of course). We also live 5 minutes away from the closest vet and pet hospital.
A typical day
My house is a ten minute walk from the beach, bike path, and downtown Monterey. We also live close to dog-friendly bikes so long walks are easily accessible if you have a high-energy pup. We also have a friendly 4 year old pup ourselves so lots of stimulation if needed! Our house is also completely fenced and private.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday but Heather has random days of the week off. Your pup will not be left alone under our care as there will be at least one of us at home to watch the dogs.
