I have owned dogs since a young age, of many different breeds. I have trained dogs to compete in agility and show events, and am familiar with the needs and requirements that pet owners will have.

I typically will not walk another owner's dog without a lead, at least for the first few times while I become familiar with the dog. Once I am comfortable with the dog's temperament (and the owner's needs), then I will judge how best to ensure the dog's safety while being cared for.
