Pet care experience
I have cared for a variety of different animals throughout my years, including dogs, cats, turtles, porcupines, and more. I grew up feeding, walking, and playing with my grandma's Cocker Spaniel in Ukraine, where I spent the first 7 years of my life. Since then, I've primarily lived in households with cats, but have always looked for any opportunity to dog-sit for my friends, and would find myself paying more attention to the dog than the human during my visits. I think of myself as highly caring, perceptive to others' needs (I'm a mental health case manager by day), adaptable to varying dog personalities, organized, and fun. I'm very outdoorsy and enjoy getting outside during the weekends, as I (like many others) am overly cooped up behind a computer during the week. I would love the chance to meet and care for your furry companion!

He was well cared for (as evidenced by the pictures and texts Olga sent during the visit), and the logistics could not have been easier. I would like to know the dog's age, general baseline demeanor, favorite activities, activities or environments to stay away from, how the dog interacts with other dogs, and the dog's communication techniques (i.e. sitting by the door when needing to go).
A typical day
I am a huge fan of the outdoors and getting out into nature, so I would love the opportunity to take your dog out on a hike, a walk to a local park, or to the lake! Some of my favorite parks in the area include Discovery Park, Golden Gardens, and Seward Park. I also love walking through university campuses (particularly before they are flooded with students), so the University of Washington or Seattle University are possible stomping grounds too. And finally, dog parks, dog parks, dog parks. Magnuson has a nice one, and I'd love to get to know others!
