My roommate's dog has been living with us the past two years and taking care of him, an adorable 14-year-old Maltese with a puppy's energy, has given me so much joy (and confidence that I can be responsible for a pet) I could never thank him enough. Unfortunately, they will be moving out in a few days and I don't want that joy to end... I just graduated from UCLA and I'm looking for a job for the next few months so my hours are very flexible and this would definitely be much more fun than sitting behind a desk all day. My friend told me about this app and I thought I could definitely do it, especially since I volunteered at the Hawaiian Humane Society for 6 years before college so I have knowledge and experience in taking care of all kinds of dogs. I'm very comfortable around them but I also understand the importance of being respectful of personalities and backgrounds, especially when they meet strangers. But no matter what, I think we'll have a great time getting to know each other, no matter how little time we spend together.
