My wife and I have two furballs at home, a dog named Oso and a cat named Jags. We call them "the kids" since we don't have human kids just yet! I am an excellent fur-dad (really, ask my wife!) and I shoulder most of the pet responsibilities at our house. We found Oso through a rescue in October of 2018 and have since taken him through Beginner, Intermediate, and Advance dog training and plan to take him through therapy dog training. Oso gets a walk twice a day and we have an active play session every evening. His favorite parts of the day are mealtimes. I found Jags as a 5-week-old kitten at a gas station. I took him home, and Oso and my wife took to him right away. He was an unexpected but great addition to the family. Of course, I feed Jags and scoop his litter in the evenings. Jags is a particularly active cat and he loves to pick fights with my fingers and toes. Lucky for him, I'm tough enough to withstand his nipping and clawing. He's a cute little monster! With both kids, we have had occasions where medicine has needed to be administered, and I have become very efficient at delivering doses in a way that is minimally stressful for both the fur-baby and the administer. I hope to be able to share my love for animals with you and your fur-children.
