We were very disappointed with our experience. We had trusted this sitter to care for our dogs during an overnight stay, but several boundaries were crossed that made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Most concerning was that she brought another dog into our home without our permission and used our puppy’s crate for it. This was never discussed or approved, and introducing an unfamiliar animal into our home without our knowledge is simply unacceptable. It not only compromised the comfort and safety of our dogs but also showed a lack of respect for our home and expectations. She also entered rooms that were not assigned to her, even after we had clearly shown her the spaces she was welcome to use during a prior visit. In addition, she used personal items without asking. Communication was also lacking. We received few, if any, updates and felt completely in the dark about how things were going. We expected a level of professionalism and respect for our home and our pets that unfortunately was not met. We hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for both sitters and pet owners.
