Pet care experience
Hey there! I am loved by many dog owners for my stable and calming presence with dogs! Because I grew up with dogs, I am good at understanding nonverbal communication and figuring out what a dog is looking for. I’ve watched and walked all types of dog personalities, and feel comfortable with high energy, anxiety, shyness, older dogs, some aggression, and many other individual needs. I am currently available for dog walks and house-sitting!

Fantastic in every way!
Nyssa is absolutely wonderful! She did a wonderful job taking care of my 14 year old dog. She sent me lots of messages and pictures to keep me updated on how my dog was doing while I was out of town.
Nyssa did an incredible job with our pup! She provided constant updates, was super attentive to all of our pup’s “old dog needs” and was communicative about pick up/drop off. She did an amazing job, we will absolutely need her services again!

My house is dog proofed from owning a puppy, and we have lots of toys and treats here, plus a big backyard where dogs can cool off and run around. In addition to plenty of playtime, I give dogs breaks from each other and lots of 1 on 1 attention. I keep a close watch on pups to look for nervousness, being overtired, or other stress so that I can take necessary steps to intervene. It's important to me that pups feel safe and happy here!

It is important to know your dog's play style, and how they get along with other dogs. We want both dogs (yours and mine!) to have the least amount of stress and max amount of enjoyment. If your dog is resource protective or leash reactive, that's great to know! Please also let me know about feeding schedule, allergies, or any special requirements your pup has.
A typical day
We can go on neighborhood walks and visit local hiking areas. I also live close to a dog park, if it is appropriate for your dog!
