Auntie to all furbabies!
Pet care experience
***Hello, furparents. I’m very much looking forward to spoiling your furbabies as all aunties do!*** When I was 5 years old, my grandma decreed a child should have pets! Ignoring my mom’s pleas at the time, she promptly set a border collie puppy in my arms, followed by a persian kitten the following year. I’ve been hooked on animals since. Through the years, I have cared for my own pets as well as that of relatives and friends. I love, love, love dogs and will love on your puppers as if I was their favorite auntie. My true obsession is with cats! My love of cats is why TNR is a passion of mine and in the past I have done that in my free time when I had more space to provide surgery aftercare and fostering. Cats and dogs bring so much more joie to life. They deserve the very best we can give them in return. I am passionate about making sure your precious babies have the best care and the best experience. I’m able to provide any type of care needed for cats and dogs from newborns to seniors, including some simple home health aide tasks like giving pills etc. I’m so looking forward to loving on your babies.
Reviews
We can’t say enough positive things about Nye and her quality of care! She visited our 2 older cats and an additional temporary cat who was still adjusting to the new environment twice per day. We were on an 8 day Cruise and are so pleased we found someone so wonderful and able to put us at ease from her very first contact. Each cat had something unique she had to deal with and she did so with flying colors. She sent at least 8 to 9 pics during each check in — more than we have their entire lives lol. Her caring energy and love for what she does was extremely obvious. We feel blessed and will most definitely employ her again for future trips out of town. Trustworthy. Safe. Loving to our “children”. Great attention to details. Able to navigate our high degree of security. What else can I say other than you should contact her for anything Rover related without hesitation! ??
Nye is truly amazing with animals. Truly, I’ve seen her ugly cry over frozen iguanas in a cold front. I’ve known her for a very long time and whenever she comes over, my dogs forget I exist. If we are at a friends house for a gathering and there is a cat, if Nye goes missing, find the cat and you will find Nye. There is no one I would trust wholeheartedly with my doggy babies’ care than Nye.

Safety, trust & environment
I use positive reinforcement strategies to influence behavior in kitties or small doggies who get a little frustrated with the changes of having a sitter come in. Not concerned about barking or hissing or scratches or nips. I’d prefer that we meet before so that your furbaby can get to know me. I use treats and play time to build trust. I treat all furbabies like they are my own so I do a lot of lap holding if they are comfortable with that. Everyone has different needs and steps for their babies so whatever instructions you leave I will follow. If left to my own devices, beds and couches are fair game but no counters, tables or other food surfaces. If they do get up there, it’s a firm no and back on the ground. If you don’t mind your babies on the counter then neither do I. If I’m feeding, I’ll start the day with a warm wet food meal just like I start my day with something warm, I free feed dry food but can measure out if need be. I typically clean litter boxes as soon as they go and sprinkle a little deodorizer so that the home remains smelling fresh.
Information Nye P. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to provide care for cats and up to medium size dogs. In advance, I will need to know temperament, favorite treats and toys, medical issues, vet contact and other relevant information
A typical day
Explore the neighborhood or the yard on a leash or in a stroller for both doggos and kitties. Or indoor play time followed by treats. Movie time or pool time. Play to encourage exercise and stretching. Massage time. Lap time then nap time.

Availability
I work full time on a waterfall schedule. I have full availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays currently. I start late on a Friday to close my operation and then go in earlier and earlier until I open my operation on a Tuesday. We can discuss an arrangement that works best for your needs if you’d like me to do a housesit. I drive and don’t mind going to work from your home after an overnight stay or doing a drop in on or before work on Fri to Tues. I also don’t mind doing a longer stay either. I can be pretty flexible, just let me know what you need.
