Growing up with animals in my home has given me lifelong pet care experience. Majority of my childhood pets were dogs, but we also had cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a ferret at one point! As an adult, my pet care experience has primarily been with dogs and cats (my own pets and family/friends’ pets). I also have 16 years of parenting human children. Although caring for humans and animals isn't exactly the same, both require patience, love, communication, flexibility, understanding, empathy, and "pawsitive" reinforcement. I'm a natural caretaker and I will love and care for your pets as if they’re my own. I'm detail-oriented and will follow specific pet care instructions that you provide. I have experience bathing dogs and administering pills orally. I love playing tag, tug-of-war, and hide-and-seek with my dog. If your pet enjoys those activities we'll have a fun time together! Fetch is another go-to for getting energy out, or we can go on an exciting "sniffari" (it's like a safari where we go out to explore the neighborhood). I’m easy-going and adaptable to each pet, because I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and requirements. I will provide consistency so your pet is stress-free while you're away.
