At age 5 my family adopted our first rescue dog (a little Pomeranian/Terrier mix) and at age 8 we rescued two kittens. My whole life I have always been surrounded by furry friends and it brings me so much joy to care for them! I have experience raising and training an 8 week old standard poodle, volunteering for animal shelters, and pet sitting for countless coworkers and neighbors. I also have experience and feel comfortable caring for all types of pets including special needs like blind pups, 3 legged, and high anxiety. As an avid cross country runner and hiker, I have endless energy to walk and play with dogs of all ages and sizes. As a freelance artist my schedule is always flexible and I'm happy to work with your scheduling needs. Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with pets and I look forward to becoming friends with your furry companions! I have many years of experience providing overnight and long term pet care in my friends' and coworkers' homes. I always have a check in prior to pet sitting to learn about specific routines and requirements for each pet as each one comes with their own unique needs and personality! For overnight stays I'd also request reviewing all emergency contact and vet information that's important to have on hand. As a life long pet owner I know how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets and will work to provide the level of care I'd expect for my own furry friends. COVID safety: I'm fully vaccinated and take precautions to minimize risks whenever possible
