Experienced Sitter/Veterinary Asst.

Pet care experience

My name is Nora M. and I have a passion for all animals! I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to give them the best care possible. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, and I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant with four years of experience. I have run my own little "business" taking care of neighbors' and friends' pets while they are out of town or when they are going to be away for a long period of time. I also spent 2 years working with a professional in-home pet-sitting company in Athens. I have owned a variety of animals ranging from rabbits to turtles to dogs, and have experience sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses, donkeys, goats, fish, chickens, cows, etc. I also have experience with Senior dogs, cats, and horses giving them the extra attention and care they need. I am also an equestrian, and I have 15+ years of experience taking care of horses as well. I would love to get to know you and your best furry friend! Due to my experience in the veterinary field, I am comfortable providing a wide range of at-home treatments for your pet including injections and subcutaneous fluids if these are required while you are away.

Nora took such great care of our dog, Biscuit. We received frequent updates and photos. We could tell by the photos that he was relaxed and happy with Nora. Overnight pet sitting is the way to go for us, it has always eased our dogs anxiety when we travel. Nora is so sweet, took great care of our dog and home. We will use her again for sure!

You will be thrilled you chose Nora to pet sit or walk your dog. When leaving my animals in her hands, I always know directions are followed and my crew is well cared for. Nora is fantastic. I highly recommend her.

I have known Nora for 5 years. When my regular pet sitter was unavailable, a friend in the neighborhood suggested Nora. Nora was a good find. She came into our home and took excellent care of our 2 cats. Nora is very trustworthy, dependable and always sweet and kind.

Nora is my daughter and she is wonderful with animals. We call her "Dr. Doolittle" because she really does have a gift for working with animals. She has worked for a Pet Sitting Business for the last year while in college. She has taken care of all kinds of animals from cats to dogs to chickens to donkeys to horses. She is an equestrian and knows everything there is to know about taking care and training horses. I guarantee she will take very good care of your pets. She has many clients that just love her! She has her own dog who lives with her and she has taken very good care of her.

Information Nora M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about each dog's temperament, what makes them comfortable and anything that would make them uncomfortable. I would like to like to know about any medical conditions your dog may have, and the required medication and care to keep them healthy. I love dogs of all breeds! The only job I would turn down is if a dog is aggressive towards me to the point where I do not think I would be able to provide them the best care possible.

A typical day

We can go on walks through the park, neighborhood or wherever your dog prefers to go! We can play fetch, play with toys, run outside and get lots of pets and belly rubs!
