Pet care experience
After a lifetime of believing dogs are better than humans, I have spent the past 3 years caring for dogs, the first 2 at Pooch Hotel in Lincoln Park. From handling different temperament types to learning important canine signals, my work has taught me everything a caretaker should know about caring for dogs. I now live in New York City, but am home for the holidays and dogsitting in my free time. I am unavailable to board right now. I have access to transportation, so I have no problem sitting for your dog in your own home. I bond with dogs very easily, and I am a responsible, knowledgeable, fun caretaker. Rest assured that your dog will be taken care of to the fullest extent.

I have worked with most, if not all, types of breeds, and have confidence in my abilities to handle anything thrown my way, whether it be the trait of a specific breed or an individual dog. Before sitting them, I would need to know how your dog interacts with other dogs or people (in terms of going on walks or to dog-safe areas), how they deal with separation, and any other specific needs she or he might have.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to a dog beach or dog park, depending on the owner's comfort level. If your dog has a lot of energy, I will take them on runs. I live in a very safe, quiet neighborhood that is quite family friendly. Previously working as a doggy daycare provider, I have a lot of fun playing with dogs.
