Pet care experience
I have been nurturing dogs of all kinds since the age of 10. And when you take great care of dogs, they take great care of you. I treat all dogs like they're my own when in my care, and I aim for them to be healthy and loved. I do this through walking, petting and brushing, feeding, playing with, and paying attention to them. Oh, and I talk to pets like they're people. Haha! I have experience house training puppies, caring for geriatric dogs at the end of their lives, and everything in between. My current dog, Bella, was about 3 months old when she came to live with me and now she is going on 13. I don't have much experience with other pet types, but I love animals and have done drop-ins for cats on several occasions. If you need a date or time you don't see on my calendar, just let me know and if I can make it happen, I will.

Nora is a dog lover. She takes excellent care of dogs. When I had to go to Japan, she took great care of Brittany. Brittany loved staying with Nora. She has always taken excellent care of her own dogs.
Nora kept our dog, Cali, while we went to visit family. Cali has had separation anxiety since we rescued her so it's a little hard to leave her but Nora went above and beyond and Cali was completely comfortable the entire time. We appreciated Nora's attentiveness, thoughtfulness and patience. Thanks to her, our trip was relaxing and enjoyable.

Safety is most important for all involved, so I will want to know of any history of biting or any other aggressive behaviors. I want to know how well they get along with other pets and people, specifically children. I want to know their usual routine, things they like best, what is not allowed, how much to feed them, and anything else useful that will make their stay as comfortable and like home for them as possible. Breed does not matter.
A typical day
My dog and all those I've kept really enjoy walking the neighborhoods. Also, if you are working with your pet to learn command signals, let me know and I will be happy to use them as well.

Availability
I'm a homeschooling work from home mom, so my daytime hours (8-4) can be flexible. Some evenings between 7:30 and 8:30 work as well. Weekends are usually pretty open between 1 and 5 pm, but additional availability varies, so just ask.
