Pet care experience
I have loved animals all my life, and I have been working with animals professionally for two years now. In 2017, I began working for Arch Animal Hospital in Des Peres as kennel worker, where I took care of boarding animals. I have extensive experience working with cats and dogs with medical and temperament issues. When I went to college in 2019, I began working as an animal technician in the animal care unit at the University of Kansas. I now have a great amount of love and experience with dogs and other exotic animals. My love for animals is truly showing in my life choices. I have found that I get along with animals quite well because I am very active and patient. While I am home for the summer, I am hoping to find opportunities working with the animals I love while helping others in this time of need!

I have no breed preferences. However I would like to know how active a dog is, what their favorite toys and activities are, what their bathroom habits entail, and what sneaky activities they engage in that I should look out for.
A typical day
I enjoy cuddling with dogs, playing fetch with them, and tug-of-war. I like to engage the pets and make them feel loved. At the same time, I enjoy daily exercise myself and love to go on frequent walks or runs with dogs, or course catering to their energy level.

Availability
I am will able to work with dogs from sizes small to large, and cats as well. I am looking for a part time job that requires me to stop by daily or do in home care for a couple of hours a day. I am also available for over night care. I am available all times of the week, however some weekends I will not be available.
