Pet care experience
I love to build genuine trust and camaraderie with animals, especially dogs. Having cared for and lived with several wonderful dogs, I understand the multi-faceted nature of care. Walks and play are not only necessary, but also sweet rituals for bonding and fun. In addition to the basics of care (i.e. food, water, walk, and play), I have a lot of experience with the not-so-fun-but-equally-important aspects of care, including caring for a disabled dog, emergency vet visits, and managing unruly behavior (including anti-social dogs and energetic puppies). I am familiar with parks and dog-parks in the Berkeley area, and am happy to tailor walks for your particular pup. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out. I respect my clients and their homes! I appreciate the trust that a client extends when they ask me into their home to care for their beloved pet, and I never break that trust. Unfortunately, my apartment does not allow pets, so I am always caring for pets in their own homes.

A typical day
Lots of fun activities! My favorite thing to do with a dog is to go on a fast-paced, energetic walk around whatever neighborhood they call home. I like mixing up routes so that a dog is always getting some new scenery and, of course, new smells to sniff! If a client has a fenced-in area for us to run around in, then I love to play chase, catch, and tug-of-war with my dog friends!
